Portland Monthly acquired, top staff laid off.

Michigan-based Hour Media LLC completed its acquisition of SagaCity Media, including Portland Monthly and five other city/regional magazines, out of bankruptcy/receivership, for $1.6 million on April 1. The editor and two other key staff at Portland Monthly were laid off.
